Expo ’70 Commemorative Park (Senri Expo Park, Suita City, Osaka Prefecture) has been issuing admission tickets (Natural Culture Park and Japanese Garden) in limited quantities since October 4, with a design featuring a publicity campaign image commemorating the 55th anniversary of the 1970 Japan World Exposition (Osaka Expo).
Similar to the “Expo ’70 Commemorative Park GOGO!” campaign launched in May, three types of visuals were used for the posters, including a scene depicting a young boy traveling back in time to the Expo site 55 years ago and a woman standing in front of the “Tree of Life” at the Tower of the Sun, now open to the public.
Tickets will be issued at random in three different designs, and will return to the regular design when the planned number of tickets is sold out.
In the foyer of the Expo ’70 Pavilion in the park, “EXPO ’70 Pavilion Special Exhibition: Shoji Kawamori Creation Exhibition – Expo ’70, Combination, Transformation, Future” is being held until March 1, 2026. Part of the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo signature pavilion “Inochi Meguru Adventure,” which Kawamori produced, is also being specially exhibited in a way that can only be seen here.
Admission is 1000 yen (free for junior high school students and younger). Admission to the Nature Park and Japanese Garden (260 yen for adults, 80 yen for elementary and junior high school students) is required separately.
