Tokyu Stay Shinjuku East Side (2-3-24 Kabukicho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) and Tokyu Stay Ginza (4-10-5 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), operated by Tokyu Resorts & Stay, will start selling accommodation plans for the “More Tokyo” tourism promotion project on June 14. The accommodation period is from June 14 to July 31 (until check-out on August 1), and reservations can be made through the official reservation website.
The “More Tokyo” campaign offers a subsidy of 5,000 yen per night per person to Tokyo residents who have received three doses of the vaccine or have negative test results.
Tokyu Stay Shinjuku East Side offers subsidized “adjoining rooms” that can accommodate up to five people. The room has two doors, each with a bedroom, and the door connecting the two rooms can be left open to create a larger space, making it convenient for large groups of family or friends. Rates start from 24,000 yen.
At Tokyu Stay Ginza, however, the subsidy will be applied to “Executive Double Rooms,” which combine high quality and functionality. The 33m2 room has a maximum capacity of two adults, but pre-school children sleep in the room with their parents (free of charge), making it a good choice for families. Rates start at 27,000 yen.
Each room is equipped with a washer/dryer and a microwave oven, and they are suitable for long-term stays of up to five nights, which is the requirement for “Motto Tokyo”.
