Evolving G will reopen its GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA, a moving Gundam facility in Yokohama, on July 16.
Based on the storyline, “They are conducting startup experiments by combining parts excavated in Yokohama,” the company will continue to implement special effects in addition to the usual startup experiment effects. In addition, the episode is said to be about experimenting with the “RX-78F00 HMT,” which adds higher mobility and enhanced armament to the Gundam concept.
The model name “HMT (Hi-Mat)” is an abbreviation for “High Mobility Type,” and it is set to have simply attachable increased armor, auxiliary verniers, and additional armament. Although HMT armament cannot be attached to the actual moving Gundam on display, the “1/144 RX-78F00 HMT Gundam High Mobility Type” will be available as a new Gunpla product from July 16. The price is 2530 yen.
To celebrate the re-opening, a special fan giveaway and a summer fair will be held, and the prequel to the new animation “Mobile Suit Gundam: Witches of Mercury” will be shown in the GFT Conference Room. The period is from July 16 to 31.
