Otomo Resort opened “Tabi-no-Eki kawaguchiko base” (521-4 Kawaguchi, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture) in the north shore area of Kawaguchiko, Fujikawaguchiko Town.
The “Asama Market,” which offers more than 2,000 products, also features “MEGU-MEGU,” a private-brand product lineup of delicacies associated with the region. As part of the experience programs, there will be a program to learn about the “careful lifestyle” that has been handed down in Kawaguchiko Town. The program changes daily or weekly, and includes a “sencha-do” experience where you learn how to brew and enjoy tea with a Japanese tea advisor, and an afternoon tea experience with a black tea advisor. At wine tasting sessions with special lecturers and sommeliers, guests can enjoy snacks that go well with wines made with locally produced ingredients.
