Korean Air will begin service on the Haneda-Kimpo (Seoul) route on June 29.
The Haneda route is the first in two years and four months since the spread of the new coronavirus. 4 daily round-trip flights had been operated to Gimhae Airport three times daily and to Incheon (Seoul) Airport once daily prior to March 2020, but all flights were suspended due to the new coronavirus.
Currently, Japan-Korea routes operate from Narita, Kansai, Centrair, and Fukuoka to Incheon, and flights from Shin-Chitose to Incheon began on July 17. The number of flights is scheduled to increase in the future, taking into consideration demand trends and entry restrictions in each country.
