JR West Trading Co., Ltd. will release goods featuring “Ikochan,” the character of JR West’s ICOCA transportation IC card, the Twilight Express sleeper train that once operated, and the SAKUBI SAKU Raku sightseeing train scheduled to start service on July 1. All of them will be available from July 1.
Ikochan goods are available only by mail order through Train Box, and all are bedding. The lineup includes a quilt cover, a box sheet, and a pillowcase. Orders will be taken until July 29 (shipping will begin in late August). Prices are 11,000 yen for the quilt cover and box sheet, and 3,850 yen for the pillowcase.
The “Twilight Express” goods are made of the same fabric (made by Suminoe Textile) as the moquette used for the seat bed in the B compartment. Three types of goods are available: a tote bag (approx. 30 cm high, 29,700 yen, limited to 50 pieces), a seat cushion (16,500 yen, limited to 100 pieces), and a cylindrical seat cushion (16,500 yen, limited to 100 pieces).
The “SAKU Bi SAKU Raku” lineup includes 10 types of goods, five of which will be sold exclusively on the train, while the other five will be available both on the train and by mail order. Products that will also be mail-ordered include clear file A4 (280 yen), cotton drawstring (500 yen), B5 notebook (330 yen), utility bag (1,850 yen), and leather style & metal key chain (550 yen).
