Yama-Keikan-Sha to Hold Shizuoka Fujieda Monomiyaki Mountain “Yajikita Hike Stamp Rally” on Yamasta, a mountain stamp rally application.

Yama-kei Publishers, an Impress Group company engaged in the mountain and nature media business, will hold the “Yajikita Hike Stamp Rally” from July 1 to December 31 in cooperation with Fujieda City, Shizuoka Prefecture, using the “Yamasta” mountain stamp rally application.

Yamasta” is a stamp rally application that allows visitors to tour mountains and nature by pressing a check-in button in the application at designated locations such as mountain peaks and tourist attractions, and receive a digital stamp designed for each location.

The Yajikita Hike Stamp Rally allows visitors to trace Yaji and Kita’s journey in Sunshu, which is recognized as a Japanese Heritage Site. Two courses are available: the “Once Upon a Time Course,” which follows in the footsteps of Yajikita, and the “Now Course,” which is filled with the charms of Fujieda.

The “In the Footsteps of Yaji-Kita: Once upon a Time Course” takes visitors on a tour of historical spots in Fujieda City, the setting of “Tokaido Chu Hizakurige,” which sparked Japan’s first travel boom, as well as cultural assets that constitute Japanese heritage. Along the way, there are many spots related to Yaji and Kita, such as the scenery depicted in the story and stores where you can taste local specialties. There are a total of eight check-in locations: Tsuta no Hosomichi Park, Keiryuji Temple, Meiji Tunnel, Okabe-juku Otairyu Kashiwaya, Old Tokaido Pine Trees (Pine Trees of Okabe-juku), Historic Site Tanaka Castle Residence, Satoha Shrine, and Daikeiji Temple (Kyuon no Matsu).

The “Modern Yajikita Road Trip Now Course” is a compilation of popular spots in Fujieda City. In addition to the spots that symbolize the “city of soccer and tea,” hikers can stop by Fuji-viewing spots and places famous for their autumn foliage, which are not to be missed when visiting Fujieda City. There are six check-in locations: Fujieda Sports Park, Kiyomizu Temple, Mt. Shimizu Water Tower, Fujimidaira, Tongaribo, and Shimizuya Sports (soccer equipment store).

Upon completion of any of the courses, participants will be entered into a drawing to win pins made in collaboration with Yamasanka, a mountain souvenir brand.

In addition, visitors who complete one of the courses and present the collected stamps at the Fujieda Tourist Information Center will receive a commemorative can badge (first 1500 stamps, 14 different designs) and a certificate of course completion (2 different designs).
