JR Kyushu (Kyushu Railway Company) announced its operation plan for July 5 due to the approach of Typhoon No. 4.
On the Nichinan Line, service between Aoshima and Shibushi Stations will be suspended from the first departure, and service between Minami-Miyazaki and Aoshima Stations will be reduced from the first departure.
Kyushu Shinkansen trains will operate as usual, but limited express and D&S trains will operate with reduced frequency.
JR Shikoku (Shikoku Railway Company) has suspended operations between Kubokawa and Egasaki stations on the Yodo Line and between Susaki and Kubokawa stations on the Dosan Line all day on the 4th, and will suspend operations between Susaki and Kubokawa stations on the Dosan Line from the first departure on the 5th. The Yodo Line will resume operation as soon as safety is confirmed.
JR West (West Japan Railway Company) is also calling for attention to the possibility of service suspensions in the Chugoku area and Wakayama district from the 5th to the 6th.
