International Emergency Relief for Earthquake Damage in Eastern Afghanistan – Distribution of Donated Goods
Emergency relief supplies provided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for earthquake damage in eastern Afghanistan were delivered to the victims.
The emergency relief supplies arrived at Kabul airport in three separate flights between June 26 and July 2, and were handed over to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) working in the region.
These emergency relief supplies were immediately transported to the affected areas by the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS), a partner of the IFRC, and are being distributed to the victims.
