JAL has launched the “Narita Airport International Sakura Lounge” as a new target lounge for its “pay lounge service” introduced at some overseas airports.
The pay-per-use lounge service is being marketed as an optional service for international flights with options such as “JAL Bid Upgrade” and “Paid Advance Seat Selection”. The “Sakura Lounge”, which was previously available in Honolulu, San Francisco, Frankfurt and Bangkok, is now available for international flights at Narita Airport, starting from July 21.
Fees vary depending on the region of purchase, and in Japan the fee is 4,950 yen per passenger, per sector, one-way. More information about the service is available on JAL’s official website.
