Sapporo Lion and Sapporo Beer opened “THE Sapporo Beer Garden” for the first time in three years at the Odori Park 8-chome venue of the 69th Sapporo Summer Festival, to be held from July 22 to August 17.
During the event, Sapporo Draft Beer Black Label, Evisu Premium Black, Hokkaido’s limited edition Sapporo Classic, and other draft beers will be served. Among them, “Kaitakushi Munchner,” which is only available at this event, will be sold in limited quantities. This beer was specially brewed at the Sapporo Kaitakushi Beer Brewery, the birthplace of Sapporo Beer, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the sister city affiliation between Sapporo and Munich, and offers a rich malt aroma and full-bodied flavor. Kaitakushi Munchner is available at 1pm, 5pm, and 7pm on weekdays, and 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm on weekends and holidays. The sale will end as soon as all of the drinks are sold out.
The venue is also equipped with a large colorful-roofed tent that can be used comfortably even in the strong sunlight or in the rain.
