Characters: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Chip, Dale, Goofy, and Max. The characters will make two circumnavigations of the bay while greeting guests. The characters are wearing costumes from the 2019 “Festival of Mystique” performance in Mediterranean Harbor. As the mysterious Festival of Mystique music plays in Mediterranean Harbor, a boat with Mickey Mouse and his friends appears. Mickey Mouse and his friends call out to the guests, “Happy Halloween, everyone! to the guests. The guests are introduced to the unique Halloween festival at Porto Paradiso, an area that recreates an Italian port town, with costumes and decorations based on sea creature motifs. Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck give a lecture on the choreography, which is the same as the choreography for the 2019 Festival of Mystique. Raise your right hand, followed by your left hand, and clap three times. Raise your right hand and strike a pose, then use that right hand to knock once on your right shoulder and once on your left shoulder, then raise your right hand again and knock on the sky, and continue to draw a circle with your hand. After repeating this four times, the choreographer crosses his arms in front of his body and waves his hands above his head in a sparkling motion for one set. Guests joined in the hand-clapping dance to the high-tempo music and shouts, and Porto Paradiso was filled with a bright sense of unity. The boat makes two circumnavigations of the bay, and Mickey Mouse and his friends wave to the guests as they leave. The Festival of Mystique show, a new program for 2019, was a wonderful stage show featuring several of Mickey Mouse’s luxurious ships and a powerful stage performance by the Sirens. The meet and greet is only about 10 minutes long, but be sure to relive that feeling of togetherness by remembering the choreography from three years ago along with nostalgic music.

Characters: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Chip, Dale, Skeletor, Jafar, Siren Descendants, etc. A new program “Halloween Time with You” will start at the Hangar Stage theater in the Lost River Delta. Villains and other popular characters will appear on the stage while videos of past Halloween events held at Tokyo DisneySea and selected famous scenes are shown in the background. The Hangar Stage is an atmospheric theater that was once an airplane hangar. It is rumored to have recently become the starting point for a journey through time and space. Chip and Dale host a Halloween party at the Hangar Stage. The stage is a spectacular place to see the various “friends” they have invited to appear on stage. The first friends to appear are the skeletons. They were popular characters in “Halloween Daydreams” (2012) and “New York Halloween Follies” (2014), and three of them will appear in their original fashionable appearance. They will join the guests in a skeleton dance to pop the crowd. Next, the Masked Aristocrat sings a live song while the mysterious music of “Mysterious Masquerade” (performed in 2009-2010) plays. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in gorgeous costumes appeared on stage, and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse danced chicly in a mature atmosphere with the stage image of a masked ball held in the past at Waterfront Park in the background. Next, acrobatic minions hijack the stage to the music of the well-known “The Villains World” (performed from 2015-2018). Jafar appears from across time and space and engulfs and taunts the audience with his magic spell, “Boom Boom Boom.” In the video, the Wicked Queen, Maleficent, and other villains that everyone knows appear one after another. Then the Descendants of the Sirens further appear and perform their beautiful singing voice along with images from the “Festival of Mystique” (to be performed in 2019), drawing the audience into the mystical world of the show. Finally, Chip and Dale, Mickey Mouse and his friends returned to the stage, and the skeleton reappeared. They all celebrate Halloween together in a spectacular finale. While watching the characters perform their snappy moves, I was again impressed by the diversity and splendor of the events shown on the background screen. Impressed by such a wonderful stage, fresh for those who saw it for the first time and nostalgic for those who remember it, one cannot help but wish for the full return of the Halloween event. 4-5 performances a day is a large number, so be sure to challenge the entry desk for more information.
