JICA President Akihiko Tanaka met with Philip Lazzarini, Executive Director of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), at JICA headquarters on October 6.
At the beginning of the meeting, President Tanaka referred to the longstanding cooperative relationship between UNRWA and JICA, to which Executive Director Lazzarini responded by expressing his desire to further deepen cooperation with JICA on business aspects.
The two sides then exchanged views on future possibilities for cooperation, including support for Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, acceptance of international students, and personal exchanges.
