Moomin Valley Park (327-6 Miyazawa, Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture), operated by Moomin Story, will hold a new exhibition, “Forms of Happy Living in the Moomin Valley,” from November 19 to late November 2023.
The theme of this year’s exhibition is “Living”. The Moomin Gardens are scattered with hints for comfortable and affluent living, such as the Moomin Gardens, the lighthouse, the bathing hut, Snufkin’s tent, and so on. The exhibition introduces the Moomins’ way of life as seen in the various buildings, their surroundings and decorations, through words and illustrations from the original stories, videos, photos, and reproductions.
The theater corner “Moominpappa’s Study” and the photo spot “Little Mii’s Room” will also be open for visitors to enjoy the world of the story. The exhibition will be held in the exhibition area on the second floor of the “KOKEMUS” exhibition facility in Moomin Valley Park.
The current exhibition “Moomin’s Table and Conviviality: Eating and Living Together” at KOKEMUS will end on October 23.
