JR East Cross Station Retail Company will release two types of “Shiroi Koibito (White & Black) 36-piece canned package commemorating 150 years of railroad operations” manufactured and sold by Ishiya Seika on October 14.
A limited edition product of Hokkaido’s famous “Shiroi Koibito,” made with an original blend of chocolate sandwiched between crispy langdosha. The center of the package, which contains 27 white and 9 black pieces, features a nostalgic design of the “Hokutosei” sleeper express that once connected Ueno and Sapporo, but was discontinued in 2015.
The lineup consists of two types, the EF510 type traveling north from Tokyo and the DD51 type running in Hokkaido, priced at 4,363 yen each, and will be sold at stores in JR East’s main stations (see below).
