The Prince of the Star Museum (909 Sengokuhara, Hakone-cho, Ashigarashita-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture), operated by TBS Growdia, announced that the facility will close on March 31, 2023.

The facility opened on June 29, 1999 as part of a worldwide commemorative project celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Saint-Exupéry, author of the French fairy tale “The Star Prince. After more than 20 years of popularity among local residents and tourists visiting Hakone, it was decided to close the park due to a decline in visitors caused by the Corona disaster and the aging of the building.
