JR East will implement a mobile ordering function in JRE Passport, a subscription service that can be used mainly at stores in stations and station buildings.
Mobile ordering is a service that allows customers to order and pay for products in advance via smartphone or other devices, so that they only need to pick them up at the store. This service allows customers to conveniently order items for their subscriber plan while traveling by train on the morning of the order date, and then stop by the store to pick up the items before returning home.
Plans eligible for mobile ordering are the “Little Mermaid” half loaf of bread plan and the “Fleurrageant” standard/volume plan.
Note that from November 1, JRE Passport has expanded its subscriptions to include a plan to take home wine at Wine Shop Enoteca (Gransta Marunouchi) and a plan to eat gyoza once a day at Dotonbori Kanza (Gransta Yaekita).
