NEXCO East Japan offers “Winter Pass 2023” winter highway discount. Weekdays from Tokyo metropolitan area to Yuzawa, Numata, and Mizukami: 9010 yen to 6100 yen, etc.

NEXCO East Japan began accepting applications for “Winter Pass 2023,” a DoraWari discount program that offers discounted expressway fares for standard cars, mini cars, and other ETC vehicles, on November 25 at 14:00.

The Winter Pass was also on sale last season, with travel from the Tokyo metropolitan area, Sendai, and Niigata to Yuzawa, Numata, and Mizukami; Hakuba, Shiga, and Myoko; Sugadaira and Karuizawa; Zao; Inawashiro and Bandai; Nasu and Shiobara; Abi and Hachimantai; and Natsuburayu. The new plan also includes a departure/arrival point in Mito and a departure/arrival point in Inawashiro and Bandai.

Fees range from 4,500 yen to 10,600 yen for standard cars and 3,600 yen to 8,400 yen for mini cars.

The service is available for a maximum of three consecutive days (one-day or two-day trips are also possible) from December 2 to 27 and from January 5 to April 3, 2023, at a fixed price for one round trip from a designated origin/destination area to a destination area. Also, customers can choose from multiple origin/destination areas and multiple destination areas.

The service can be used by applying in advance through the dedicated website “DoraPura” and registering an ETC card and a car.

The campaign also offers an additional 15% of the DRAWAL discount sales price in ETC mileage points if the DRAWAL discount is used with an application for a weekday-only usage period.

In addition, the program offers discounts and other preferential offers and survey gifts in cooperation with target ski resorts, lodging facilities, hot spring facilities, tourist facilities, service areas, parking areas, and other facilities near the destination area.
