ANA has announced that it has been awarded a 5-star rating in the World Airline Star Ratings by SKYTRAX, a UK-based airline ratings company. This marks the tenth consecutive year that ANA has received the 5-star rating since it was first awarded in 2013.
The World Airline Star Rating is based on an audit of the quality standards of each airline’s in-flight and airport services, and only airlines that provide passengers with a five-star level of service are awarded the highest rating of five stars. Only 10 airlines in the world have earned this rating, and of these, ANA Group is the only airline in Japan that has maintained it for more than 10 years.
ANA’s efforts in 2022 include renewing the domestic online check-in function in the app and providing ANA Travel Ready (advance confirmation of travel documents) for international flights to ensure smooth procedures. In recent years, ANA has also improved the seat availability waiting service for domestic flights, and has been distributing flight operation information via the app using a push notification function.
