On December 6, JAL will launch “JAL DREAM EXPRESS Disney 100,” a specially painted aircraft commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company. The first flight will be JL261 from Haneda at 14:00 to Hiroshima.
The design features Disney characters on both sides of the Boeing 767-300ER (registration code: JA615J), and the concept is “Kirari Iro Journey: Let the sparkling colors of each individual color the story of your new journey. The aircraft is decorated with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, as well as Stitch, Woody from Pixar films, Jasmine, Ariel, Elsa, and other Disney princesses in vivid colors. The cabin has a total of 252 seats, including 5 seats in First Class and 42 seats in Class J. The headrest covers of all seats except First Class are also specially designed. The paper cups for in-flight beverage service are also exclusive to this specially-painted aircraft, and are available in nine different designs, including Donald Duck and Buzz Lightyear. Nine more designs are scheduled to be added in the summer of 2023.
