Hilton, Public Investment Advisors, and Sankei Building will open the DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Higashiyama (1-45 Honmachi, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) in summer 2023.
The hotel will be rebranded from the hotel that opened in March 2021 and newly opened as DoubleTree by Hilton, the first hotel in Kyoto. Located within walking distance of Kiyomizu Temple, the hotel is a one-minute walk from Kiyomizu Gojo Station and a 10-minute drive from Kyoto Station.
The hotel features a Japanese modern design and has a total of 158 guest rooms, mainly standard rooms of approximately 28 m2, an all-day dining room, a lounge and bar, a large public bath, and a fitness center.
