Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Atami opens in July. Free ocean-view lounge and new Japanese-style modern rooms

Posted on 2024-04-092024-04-22 by Editor in Chief

Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hotels & Resorts will reopen Oedo Onsen Monogatari Atami (8-3 Sakimi-cho, Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture) on July 22. Reservations will be accepted from April 15.

The Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Series, which will be available nationwide from 2023, is popular for its lounge, where alcohol, soft drinks, and popsicles can be enjoyed free of charge at any time, and its gourmet buffet breakfast and dinner.

Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Atami, the first hotel to open in Shizuoka Prefecture, is located a seven-minute walk from the Atami Station shopping district and a five-minute walk from Atami Sun Beach. Of the 76 rooms, some ocean-view rooms have been renovated into modern Japanese-style rooms with beds on tatami mats for greater comfort.

The restaurant has also been redesigned to resemble a ship’s deck in the seaside area and a luxury cruise ship dining room in the area where the live kitchen and buffet boards are located. The live kitchen will offer freshly prepared dishes and a menu that changes with the seasons, as well as all-you-can-eat meats, sashimi, sushi, Haagen-Dazs ice cream, and more.

Room rates start at 18,900 yen per person (based on double occupancy). Two large baths (Kosai-no-yu and Manjo-no-yu) using hot water from Atami, one of the three major hot springs in Japan, are available on a morning and evening changeover basis, and the hotel also offers free parking for approximately 70 cars.
