Tokai Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. has announced the start date for accepting reservations for the high-speed jet boat between Matsuzaki and Tokyo, which will operate from June 15 to 16. Reservations from Tokyo and Matsuzaki will be accepted from April 25 and May 7, respectively, at the Customer Center (telephone, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.).

As an initiative to utilize Matsuzaki New Port located in Matsuzaki-cho, Shizuoka Prefecture, the new vessel will operate a daily round-trip service between Matsuzaki and Takeshiba Pier in Tokyo. The itinerary for both departures from Tokyo and Matsuzaki is to depart on June 15, arrive the same day, and return to Tokyo and Matsuzaki on the following day, June 16, requiring an overnight stay in Tokyo or Matsuzaki. The price is 13,800 yen round-trip (8,000 yen for children), with the first 200 passengers from Tokyo and the first 170 passengers from Matsuzaki.

On the 16th, a free shuttle bus service will be provided to Matsuzaki to take visitors to tourist attractions, and a “grand banquet” will be held to sell local products.
