On June 6, Ikspiari, a commercial facility within Tokyo Disney Resort, launched the “Fantasy Springs New Chapter Begins Exhibition.
Fantasy Springs, the eighth new theme port at Tokyo DisneySea, finally opened today, June 6. The exhibition that delves deeply into the trajectory of its birth and the secrets of its creation is the main attraction. The exhibition will be open from June 6 to September 30. Admission is 1,300 yen for adults, 1,000 yen for middle-aged people, and 700 yen for children.
The exhibition will revolve around four themes: “The Story of the Birth of Tokyo DisneySea,” “The Story Behind ‘Fantasy Springs,'” “The Road to the Grand Opening of ‘Fantasy Springs,'” and “Display of ‘Fantasy Springs’ Models and Costumes.
Tokyo DisneySea: The Birth of Tokyo DisneySea” introduces the history of the world’s first ocean-themed Disney theme park. It looks back at the concept art used when the area was conceived, as well as treasured photos and footage from the time of construction. Visitors can also browse through an album of fascinating scenes from each theme port.
The following exhibit, “The Story Behind ‘Fantasy Springs'” is an in-depth look at the new themed port that has just been added to the park. The exhibit will tell the story behind the new themed port, as well as provide visitors with an immersive experience using three screens. Visitors can also enjoy live-action footage and famous scenes from the Disney films “Anna and the Snow Queen,” “Rapunzel in the Tower,” and “Peter Pan.
The exhibit is like an invitation to enter a story, and beyond the books, a model of the rockwork around the Fantasy Springs Entryway, the entrance to the new area, is also on display. After visiting the park, visitors will be amazed at how well the model reproduces the reality.
In the “Road to the Grand Opening of Fantasy Springs” exhibit, the audience was treated to a rare opportunity to see a video showing the creative process and the passion of the people behind the grand opening. The passion and passion of the people who supported the opening of the museum will make you wish you could have worked at the site. The exhibition provides a time that makes you feel like “I wish I could have worked at this site too!
In the “Fantasy Springs” Model and Costume Exhibit, visitors will see a giant 1/25th scale model of the three Disney movie-themed areas in the new theme port: Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Neverland. You will be amazed at the size of the areas beyond your imagination.
I remain excited about the actual cast costumes from the attraction’s vehicle models. It is not often that we get a chance to take a closer look at the costumes. Take this opportunity to observe the attention to detail and the texture of the fabric.
Even more noteworthy is the display of props actually employed in the attraction’s queue lines and restaurants. For example, the wisteria flowers around the “Frozen Kingdom” booth are decorated with props from the attraction’s boat ramp. 80-90% of the props have been installed in the new area, so it should be fun to look for them there.
Along with the models, the production and photo booth are full of enjoyable elements. For example, the photo booth in the “Rapunzel’s Forest” area offers a surprise by flashing a flashlight, and the 1/25 scale model dramatically changes the background as you gaze at it. The 1/25th scale model is a great place to see how the background changes dramatically as you gaze at it, and how you can discover more about it as you spend more time with it!
In the “Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel” area, a model of the hotel was also unveiled for the first time! From the “Fantasia” rock art of the magical spring to the impressive large window molding, the model allows visitors to see every detail. It also mentions the story of Dutchess, who found the magical spring and built a villa.
Tickets are now on sale online. Admission discounts are also available with a date-specific admission ticket to Tokyo Disney Resort during the exhibition period or by presenting proof of use of a Disney hotel. Add this to your stay at the resort and visit.
