JR Tokai launches a 3-day/2-night tour in support of the 65th Ito En Oi-Ocha Cup O-dan Tournament.

JR Tokai Tours launched a tour in support of the “Ito En Oi-Ocha Cup 65th Oui Title Tournament Round 7, Game 1.

The Ito En Oi-Ocha Cup Championship will be a seven-game tournament in which Akira Watanabe 9-dan will challenge Sota Fujii 8-kan, the holder of the eight major Shogi titles, for the title of “O-dai,” the title of Eternal King, and Watanabe 9-dan for the first time. The first game will be held at Tokugawa-en in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, on July 6-7.

Two types of support tours are now on sale: the “Premium Tour,” which allows visitors to observe up-close the “first move,” “sealed move,” and “impression game” in the game room, as well as enjoy live commentary and dinner by the accompanying professionals, and the “eve of the tournament” tour, which allows participants to hear the professionals’ resolutions and attend a talk show by the professionals.

Both products will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis through the EX Travel Pack, a limited-edition travel product for EX Service members.
