On June 19, JAL partnered with USEN NETWORKS to launch “JAL Hikari,” a home Internet service that allows JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) members to earn miles.
Plans of up to 1GB, 2GB, and 10GB downlink using “NURO Hikari” and “USEN NETWORKS” are available for single-family homes and condominiums, respectively. Monthly rates range from 4,070 yen to 6,875 yen.
Miles can be earned for new subscriptions, monthly use, payment with a JAL card, and continued use per year, with a maximum of 9824 miles earned after 13 months of use.
To celebrate the release of the service, customers who sign up for JAL Hikari between June 19 and August 31 will also receive 10,000 miles for all plans.
