National Route 470, Noetsu Expressway and Norinosatoyama Kaido, will be open to two-way traffic from July 17, 12:00 p.m. Besshodake SA: Toilets in the Kanazawa direction are also available.

The Kanazawa Office of Rivers and National Highways, Hokuriku Regional Development Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Noto Reconstruction Office, and Ishikawa Prefecture have announced that the Noto-satoyama Kaido (Noto-satoyama Airport IC to Tokuda Otsu IC) on National Route 470, Noto Expressway, which is under restoration work due to damage from the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, will be open to two-way traffic on all sections except near the Noto Bridge from July 17, 2012. The road will be open to traffic on all sections except for the Noto Ohashi Bridge area from July 17, 2012.

Although traffic near the Noto Bridge will be alternating between one side and the other for the time being, two-way traffic will be secured by the end of September.

The road is scheduled to be closed. The road alignment and gradient are poor in some areas, such as between the Nonosatoyama Airport IC and Anamizu IC, and between the Koshinohara IC and Yokota IC, in order to bypass areas where landslides have occurred, so drivers are asked to exercise caution when passing through these areas.

At Besshodake SA, only the restrooms in the Kanazawa direction will be available for this two-way traffic. The Wajima direction will be closed for the time being due to damage to the entrance and exit of the SA.
