Universal Studios Japan opened a new merchandise store, Hollywood Specialty Store, on July 12 in anticipation of the summer vacation season.

This is the first guest-participatory charity project in the Park’s history and is part of the CSR project “LOVE HAS NO LIMIT,” which was announced in April. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to an organization that supports “creating a future full of smiling children.

In addition to the basic charity T-shirt designs (black/white) with hearts as the CSR slogan logo, a Sesame Street collaboration featuring eye-catching Cookie Monster shades and a Peanuts collaboration featuring an original Snoopy drawing will also be available for purchase at the same time. Details of the donation amount and donation organization will be announced around the end of 2024.

Woody and Winnie Woodpecker also made an appearance at the door opening ceremony held on the same day.
