TOKYO MX and Crypton Future Media will hold “Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2024,” a live performance and exhibition of “Hatsune Miku” and other virtual singers, in Fukuoka, Tokyo, and Osaka from August to October.
The event is scheduled to be held at the Fukuoka venue (Fukuoka Sun Palace and Fukuoka International Congress Center) on August 17-18, at the Tokyo venue (Makuhari Messe) from August 30 to September 1, and at the Osaka venue (Intex Osaka) from October 12 to 14.
Magical Mirai” has been held annually since 2013, attracting 420,000 visitors over the past 11 years. The event features live performances by Hatsune Miku and other virtual singers, illustration and music exhibits, corporate booths, workshops, and other exhibitions, as well as DJ events as sub-events in all host cities.
Magical Mirai in 2024 will be held in Fukuoka for the first time, and will feature collaborations with local businesses, including the renaming of Nishitetsu Mikuni ga Oka Station to “Hatsune Miku ni ga Oka Station. Exhibitions and participatory projects will be held at the commercial facility “Solaria Plaza,” and collaborative products with the local famous confectionery “Tyrolean” will be sold.
