Kenmin Foods will release the “Mickey Mouse/Rice Noodle” series on September 1.
Three types of ramen, pasta, and udon noodles are available, priced at 352 yen each. The dried noodles have a shelf life of 24 months at room temperature. They will be available at supermarkets nationwide.
The noodles feature a Mickey Mouse shape and have a 1.7-1.8 mm cross-sectional portion in the shape of three circles. Using the technology of beef noodle production, the noodles are said to be chunky in texture yet smooth in taste. Since the product does not contain any of the eight specified ingredients and is made from rice, it can be applied to a wide range of menus without worrying about allergens or gluten.
