Tokyo Disney Resort has announced the release of “Circulating Smiles” merchandise, reusing the garland used for the 40th anniversary “Dream Go Round” at Tokyo Disney Resort. The items will be available for sale on the official Tokyo Disney Resort app from September 4.
Circulating Smile” is a project that collects used items from the park and reborn them as new merchandise. The goal is to recycle resources and keep guests smiling for years to come.
The newly released merchandise utilizes the garland used at the resort during the anniversary year, and the two sizes of tote bags (17,000 yen/20,000 yen) feature Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and other Disney friends as well as the 40th anniversary logo.
Each size has a total of 8 designs. Sized to be worn over the shoulder, the garland is used on both the front and back. There are multiple colors of garland. One pocket inside.
Also available are “shoulder bags” (28,000 yen each). These bags come in a total of seven designs, with the 40th anniversary logo as the main motif and a mini pouch with garland depicting the characters (multiple colors available). The bag can also be used as a tote by removing the strap, making it a two-way type.
The lineup also includes “tapestries” (7,800 yen). There are a total of eight types, including characters and logos. Since there is a wide range of colors, etc., you will have to wait until you receive the tapestry to see which design you get. You can get one of the tapestries.
All of these items are full of special touches! In addition to reliving the 40th anniversary of the park, these items are also highly sought after collectors’ items.
