Roadside Station Shiki no Sato Park FOOD HUNTER PARK (479-1 Meioji, Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture) will open an accommodation facility “Kanata no Sato” on November 8, 2012, utilizing the publicly solicited establishment management system (Park PFI) under the Urban Park Law. Located at 61 Yada, Wakayama City, within the Roadside Station Shikinosato Park, the management company is Core Global Management.
It has 20 villas (10 pet villas and 10 general villas) where you can feel the nature of the four seasons in Wakayama, and offers plans including one night with two meals (maximum capacity of 2-6 persons per villa). The pet wing of the villa, where you can stay with your dog, also has a dog run, 15 booths for BBQ (maximum 6 people per booth), and 4 barrel saunas. The meals are said to be prepared under the supervision of Chef Tomohiro Ogawa, who has been given the highest honor in French cuisine.
Registered as a roadside station in 2020 and grand opening in April 2022, the roadside station is equipped with facilities for people of all ages to enjoy, including a restaurant, a produce stand where fresh vegetables and meat can be purchased, a BBQ plaza where visitors can warm themselves by the fire, a playground equipped with playground equipment, and a dog park. The designated manager, Food Hunter Park, also holds nature experience events throughout the seasons.
