Logos Corporation, which develops the outdoor brand “LOGOS,” has collaborated with Footmark, a school goods manufacturer in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, to launch “LOGOS x FOOTMARK RAKUSACK,” a cloth school bag that is less stressful on children’s bodies. It is available in two colors, camel M and khaki, in natural and gentle shades, and can be used by unisex users. Priced at 21,780 yen each.

The unique feature of this bag is its patented “Book Strap. The Book Strap is a textbook fastening belt developed with reference to mountaineering packing, in which “heavy luggage is placed close to the back” to make it feel lighter.

In addition, the 3D-patterned shoulder belt, created from a child’s body shape, reduces swaying by adhering closely to the body and the slope of the shoulders. The back pad is made of a highly cushioned material that can be comfortably carried for extended periods of time. In addition, the shoulder straps & chest strap can be positioned to fit the body shape to reduce shoulder belt slippage and swaying for improved adherence.

It has plenty of storage space, including a dedicated pocket for holding a tablet or PC, a side pocket, and a timetable storage pocket on the back of the lid. The front pocket with zipper for small items such as a handkerchief has a round window with a limited collaboration design, in which a card with a name or school name can be inserted.

When locked, the FIDLOCK magnetic buckle makes it easy for even children with a weak grip to open and close the bag by simply approaching it. The surface is water-repellent, making it easy to use even in the rain, and the 360° reflector is placed in a conspicuous position so that it is not hidden even when an umbrella is held over it, thus ensuring safety.

Body size: approx. 25.5 x 15 x 36 cm (W x D x H); total weight: approx. 890 g; capacity: approx. 19 L.
