Hoshino Resort’s hotel “Risonare Atami” (2-13-1, Mizuguchi-cho, Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture) will hold a night strawberry picking “Night Strawberry Tour” from January 6 to March 30, 2025.
In order to fully enjoy “Benihoppe” strawberries born in Shizuoka Prefecture, reservations are limited to one couple per day, and the illuminated greenhouses will be reserved exclusively for the event. After dinner, guests leave the hotel with an invitation card in their room. Upon entering the greenhouse, a red carpet of strawberry lanes will appear, and with a glass of rosé champagne in hand, visitors will be able to pick strawberries in an atmosphere as if they were at a party.
This year’s event, the 12th of its kind, also includes a millefeuille-making experience using luxurious freshly picked strawberries. Participants will be able to make their own pie, custard cream, and other toppings, and then pour a strawberry sauce flavored with raspberry liqueur over the pie to taste.
