Atami Toku Tabi Passport” starts on December 1. Show it at restaurants and souvenir stores and save over 20,000 yen in total!

Posted on 2024-11-272024-12-15 by Editor in Chief

The Atami Dekatabi Coupon Executive Committee will distribute the Atami Dekatabi Passport, a regional excursion pass that allows visitors to enjoy a great deal on their trip to Atami, starting December 1.

The passport can be used at restaurants and souvenir stores in Atami City, and upon presentation of the passport at each store, customers will receive a service of around 500 yen per store. There are more than 30 participating stores, and if you visit all of them, you can save more than 20,000 yen. The passport also allows visitors to enjoy hidden gems such as small restaurants where they can taste Izu’s seafood and izakaya (Japanese-style pubs) frequented by locals.

Examples of services include “a plate of gyoza or one omakase snack” (worth 550 yen), “one drink of choice” (worth 500 to 1,000 yen), and “5% off the bill of souvenirs” (for those who purchase 1,000 yen or more), depending on the restaurant.

The passport can be picked up at the time of check-in when you make a reservation for the “Plan with Atami Tokatabi Passport” at a partner hotel or ryokan. The passport is valid for six months from the check-in date, so you can use it even when you revisit Atami.
