Keio and Inokashira Lines to Revise Timetable on March 15. More Keio Liners will be issued during rush hours, and the fastest travel time for limited express trains will also be shortened.

Keio Electric Railway will implement a timetable revision on the Keio and Inokashira Lines on March 15.

The Keio Liner, a reserved-seat train, will increase the number of departures to Hashimoto by 2 on weekday mornings and by 3 on weekends and weekends during the evening and nighttime. On weekdays, the Keio Tama Center-bound trains to Shinjuku will be changed to Hashimoto-bound trains.

In addition, a new Keio Liner will operate between Shinjuku and Takaoyamaguchi on weekday morning up and night down trains and on Saturday and holiday morning down trains. This will improve access to Tama Zoological Park and the Mt. Takao area.

In addition, “Kodomo to Issho Wari Seat Reservation Ticket” (500 yen), a seat reservation ticket for a set of two seats for an adult and a child, will be available not only during limited periods but also on weekends and holidays throughout the year.

For regular trains on the Keio Line, some weekday morning and daytime honor trains will be replaced by express and limited express trains with high speed. To alleviate platform and on-board congestion, all honor trains departing from Shinjuku will be changed to 10-car trains.

In addition, the daytime operation pattern will be reviewed, and the fastest time required between Shinjuku and Keio-Hachioji for limited express trains will be reduced by 1 minute for the up train and 2 minutes for the down train.

On the Inokashira Line, two more express trains will run on weekday mornings. On weekends and holidays, the interval between some trains during daytime hours will be shortened, with six more up trains and five more down trains. In addition, the fastest express train between Kichijoji and Shibuya during daytime hours will be shortened from 18 minutes to 17 minutes.
