The Nakanoshima Art Museum, Osaka (4-3-1 Nakanoshima, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) will collaborate with “Sakura Miku” in the “Daigoji Temple National Treasure Exhibition,” which will be held from June 15 to August 25.
In collaboration with “Sakura Miku,” which incorporates cherry blossoms and other spring motifs into Hatsune Miku, the museum will provide in-person broadcasts and voice guidance by Hatsune Miku, as well as an AR presentation that visitors can view from their smartphones called “Sakura Miku Dancing. The “Sakura Miku Dances: AR of the Cherry Blossoms of Daigo” will be available for viewing on visitors’ smartphones. In the AR presentation, Sakura Miku will guide visitors to the highlights of the exhibition and dance to the music of “Senbonzakura” (Thousand Cherry Blossoms).
Limited edition goods will also be available, including acrylic stands and postcards featuring the main visual.
Admission to the “Daigoji National Treasure Exhibition Commemorating the 1,150th Anniversary of the Founding of Daigoji Temple” is required to view the performance and purchase goods. The general price is 1,600 yen for an advance ticket, which can be purchased through the website, and 1,800 yen for a day-of-performance ticket.
