DAAAMO, which runs the “Anime LOVE Project,” is fully backing Awashima Marine Park (186 Shigedera, Uchinoura, Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture), which closed in February and will reopen on July 12.

Awashima Marine Park is the site of the anime “Love Live! Sunshine! The aquarium closed on February 25 due to aging facilities, rising costs of feeding the animals, and problems with a lawsuit.

Subsequently, Kunito Imamura, a member of DAAAMO, a comprehensive media organization that brings together various media outlets including the TV, publishing, and Web industries, concluded an agreement on April 12 to have all shares held by the former owner company of Awashima Marine Park transferred to him.

After the reopening, they plan to develop media, plan projects to promote Awashima Marine Park and the surrounding area, offer appearances to entertainers and celebrities, attract foreign tourists, collaborate with companies, and open new facilities.

In addition, a fan club “Awashima Marine Aid Club” was established to promote Awashima Marine Park and the surrounding area.
